Construction diary part 3 – System is ready for final pick-up

SubCtech is proud to release the first fully qualified subsea 1 MWh Energy Storage System (ESS) of its kind! During our final steps towards delivery to our customer, we decided to share some insights and thus set up a construction diary including some important project-milestones. Part 3 features updates on our system, which is now ready for the pick-up on the way to our customer.

Customs clearance was successfully completed today, the whole system is about to get shipped tomorrow.

Now the next milestone coming up already being the final one: The fully approved system with a total of 2 MWh will be shipped sea-ways directly to our customer! This will be followed by final deployment work on the seabed from Offshore Support Vessels to integrate the system and make it fully operational. The first of its kind – worldwide!
