EU-Funded Research Project: EUMARIN

SubCtech GmbH is participating as a project partner in the EUMARIN research project, which is funded under the Schleswig-Holstein Economic Programme 2021–2027 through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The project aims to develop innovative technologies for subsea power supply and power conversion. Its focus is on creating high-performance, compact, and highly efficient energy systems capable of reliable operation under the demanding mechanical and operational conditions of the marine environment. The technologies developed within the project will contribute to advancing modern underwater solutions for scientific research, offshore applications, and the protection of critical maritime infrastructure.

The Programme for the Future–Economy finances the development of the new water quality monitoring system.

For the period 2007 – 2013, the Programme for the Future – Economy – comprises roughly EURO 704 m. for economics and regional promotion in Schleswig-Holstein, thereof ca. EURO 374 m. out of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), ca. EURO 208 m. out of the Federal/State Joint Agreement “Improvement of Regional Economic Structures” (GRW) and complementary State Funds of ca. EURO 122 m.
