Energy Storage Systems

High-Performance, highly reliable and high-safety Li-ion Energy Storage System (ESS) for offshore subsea applications. Designed for deployments of up to 25 years, the ESSs are typically used as backup system integration acting as your offshore renewable energy source. The batteries of the ESS are fully API17F qualified and certified to UN T38.3. The subsea skids are qualified accordingly.

Typical applications for our Energy Storage Systems:

• Backup energy source for offshore applications with high energy demands (>1 MWh)
• At Oil & Gas production facilities to ensure that critical control systems and sensors are continuously powered

Converter Skid (Power Skid PS)

Description

The Power Skid (PS) is the interface between the user’s subsea system and the Energy Storage System (ESS). The Power Skid connects the Battery Storage Skids BSS and provides interfaces.

The integrated Output Power Module (OPM) is used for main ESS system control and voltage conversion AC/DC and/or DC/AC.

Test equipment can be installed such as a Subsea Load bank (SLB) to test the system in absence of the production facility.
